Cotton-led CVC or polyester-led TC? Here's how composition changes comfort, care and cost.
CVC (Chief Value Cotton) has more cotton than polyester — commonly 60/40, 65/35 or 70/30 — giving good moisture absorption and a softer, more breathable hand. It suits T-shirts, polo shirts and uniforms.
TC (Tetoron Cotton) has more polyester — commonly 65/35, 80/20 or 70/30 — making it more wrinkle-resistant, shape-retaining, quick drying and generally more affordable. It suits uniforms, polos, dress shirts and office attire.
